With ignition turned off press and hold in the trip meter button. Now turn the ignition on and wait for the display to change on the dash panel. This usually takes around 10 seconds. Once the display changes release the trip meter button and take your foot off the brake pedal, switch off the ignition. Your Service Indicator is now reset. The Service Vehicle Soon (SVS) light can be identified by a picture of a car with a wrench in it. Can I reset this myself? The car runs great and we have service preformed on a regular basis. After I filled up the first time, I had the SES light come on, and with less than 500 miles on the car, I figured the problem was a loose fuel cap. I got on line and found a process to read the code and to reset the SES light.
